This is a request direct from Brad and should be handled as soon as possible. Feel free to bring in other members of our team as you feel necessary.

The task is to investigate SQL throughly, looking into performance issues and solutions, search issues and solutions (such as defining our own search algorithms, and ensuring good performance overall,) and research general things about the database system. Also, look into extending the database to server clusters, and anything else that would seem pertinent to the project and task of creating a large scale SQL database. Look into differences between this and MySQL if possible, so that people can draw on their MySQL knowledge, or not draw on it (if you find that they differ enough that using past knowledge might be detrimental)

Also, please keep this work order up to date with your project if possible. Feel free to coordinate with whoever, and ask Brad for clarifications or more pieces.
